Adventures in Art
Using visual thinking strategies, students will embark on an art journey learning to find meaning in works of American fine art. This creative program engages students in investigating, looking closely, and making inferences about what they see.
Storytelling Through Art
Students will use language arts skills to determine what is happening in a painting. Then students will work independently or as a group to write creative narratives about works of art in the galleries.
Senses and Fine Art
Students will examine art and use inference and imagination to experience the five senses.
Chaperones are expected to monitor the group and help encourage good museum manners as laid out by the museum instructor at the beginning of the visit.
